Sensational Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Acheampong, popularly known as Becca, has graduated top of her class with a GPA of 3.92, making her this year’s overall best student. Becca studied Masters in Brands and Communications at the University of Professional Studies where she bagged her degree.

Becca has harnessed her career to promote Ghanaian music, arts and culture as well as being very instrumental in inspiring and supporting other young women to venture into the career.

Delivering her speech as a valedictorian, Becca said she hopes her current achievement will inspire other young women to dream big.

“I really hope someone out there can be inspired by me, or by this, and challenge you even higher and better”, she announced.

She however added that, “Being a mother now, a wife, a career professional, a singer, furthering my education seemed quite impossible, but thanks to my ever supportive husband, Dr Saani Daniel, who was always there to remind me that it was very possible.”

Becca was the headline musician for the Girl Talk show for some years before handing over to Efya.

With over 15 years in the music industry and about 70 awards to her name, Becca also runs the Kora Spa. She is married to Dr Tobi Saani Daniel and they have a child together.
