As today marks World Youth Skills Day, we celebrate the many accomplishments of youth change makers across the globe and within the continent. Ghanaian youth keep advancing the cause of social entrepreneurship and civil society organizations for innovation and impact which is worth acknowledging.
In light of this, the Jacobs Foundation and Reach for Change Ghana are proud to announce ten social entrepreneurs who will positively influence the education system in Ghana.
These 10 social entrepreneurs will receive grant funding of up to USD 17,000, business skills development, and network- and media exposure.
They include Simeon Martey Kwawununu of Child Dream Foundation and GYSEC 2017 fellow, Josephine Marie Godwyll of Young At Heart GH, Elizabeth Akua Patterson of Girls Education Initiative of Ghana, among others.
The Jacobs Foundation are on a mission to build researcher and social entrepreneur coalitions who jointly create evidence-based education solutions that are supported by institutional partnerships with an entrepreneurial focus.
