Ivy Barley is the Co-Founder and CEO of Developers in Vogue, an organization that aims at creating a relevant community of amazing African women who are passionate about using technology to revolutionize Africa and beyond. 

She provides training, mentorship, job placement and business incubation for African women in technology. 

Ivy Barley holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Mathematical Statistics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah’ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. 

She currently works as a Technical Program Manager and Data Scientist with the Open Education Analytics team at Microsoft. 

“Growing up, I loved the classroom. I remember gathering the neighbourhood children to teach them Science and Mathematics for free. In recent times, I have been able to increase my capacity to even do more than before because I believe education is the most powerful tool to transform lives.”

“In 2017, I co-founded Developers in Vogue, an organization that provides training, mentorship and job placement/business incubation for African women in tech. The organization has grown to become one of the leading tech communities in Ghana,” said Ivy Barley.
