Grammys 2021 award winners have finally been announced and Burna Boy brought home the prestigious award with his album titled, ‘Twice as Tall”. After missing out on the award last year, the exclusive artiste and his colleague Wizkid, both from Nigeria, Africa, have made the continent proud.

Announcing on their official website, Grammy organisers described Burna boy as the Nigerian Powerhouse while stating that,

”Burna Boy won ‘Best Global Music Album’ for ‘Twice as Tall’ at the Premiere Ceremony of the 63rd GRAMMY Awards. This marks his first career GRAMMY win. They are the first winner of the recently renamed category, formerly known as Best World Music Album.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Best Music Video’ winner went out to Beyonce ft Wizzkid, making it the Nigerian artiste’s first ever Grammy award.

Later, Burna Boy gave a sterling performance of two tracks on his Twice as Tall album to close the Premiere Ceremony.
