Job searching can be one of the most mentally straining things to do, especially in the economy like this current one. This post may come off as insightful, very valuable and timely. It is important to find out the views and issues that are front of mind of the many global technology and business leaders and how to use that to your advantage as a jobseeker.

Strategy

Yes, you can give up on a strategy, change direction, and hit refresh. But, never give up on yourself. You need to develop a strategy for how you will approach your job search. Will you reach out to friends and family or walk into a job search centre? The decision is yours to make.

Volunteer

You may yearn to read the words, “Congratulations, you have being offered the job as ABCD, attached is your appointment letter”. However, it may be helpful to not just attend events as a participant, be honored to be selected as a high-level track facilitator or even a volunteer. This will open up your chances on getting a role soon.

Legacy

I know a lot of you are job searching but do not grow weary yet. There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. See business owners as winners and not as compitition, that is how you can be part of their legacy.

Inspiration

Seek inspiration from others who were once in your position and now have jobs. Use your leisure times as a way of inspiring other young people especially girls to step into leadership roles, especially in politics and other multifaceted roles. That’s how you can gear yourself up towards winning a new role.

I hope these few tips are helpful and thought provoking. See you on the congratulations side of life. Keep winning even while you are on the search. All the best.
