Desmond Danso Sakyi popularly known as Chief aka King George of the famous YOLO TV series has recently earned the position as the Student Representative at the University of Creative Arts in England.

The Chevening scholarship holder made it to the university somewhere last year and is already chalking successes at the institution.

King George has been in the news for all the right reasons and it is something the youth can look up to. His study as a Chevening scholar comes with a M.A in Global Media Management at the end of the course.

The scholarship is being offered through the UK Foreign Office’s Chevening Awards programme, which offers future leaders the opportunity to develop themselves professionally and build lasting relationships with the UK.

The young man who got his fame in his role as King George in the YOLO TV won the hearts of many with his funny and sterling performance as a friend and confidant to Cyril.

In the drama series, he is best known for being a gossip and thus the name ‘King George BBC’. It is not surprising that as part of his stay in the UK, the actor and activist works part time with the BBC World News.

Mr Danso also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Education, Winneba.

He recently announced the new position on his social media platform and we are so proud of his achievement.
