For your daily dose of inspiration on anything mothers and motherhood, today’s post will serve you just the right amount. Wondering what it feels like being a mom? Well, motherhood is tough but the lighter part is when you have your child happy and looking healthy. Mother’s Day is a time of joy and sharing love and warmth all around. Every step of the way, a mother’s love is needed to fuel strength and embody security for those they are raising. Keep reading to embrace the concept of motherhood and everything  mother figures.

Mother

A mother, to me, is one who brings up a child in comfort and discipline so they can grow up responsibly. When the child grows wayward, the mother is pointed to first, not the aunty or sister, or any other woman for that matter. And so, beyond birthing the child, a mother is an embodiment of character and charisma. Motherhood therefore is the core essence of the one who brings up a child in love and soundness of mind and character.

Childbirth

The process of childbirth is very complex. That is why surrogates are usually not the real mothers of the babies that they birth. Those who adopt children who have been neglected are the real angels on earth. The true worth of the mother is not only about who birthed the child through the natural canal but those who come together to give the child warmth and to make their world safe. Childbirth alone does not determine motherhood, if you ask me. It is the channel for which children are introduced into the world to be led to their real earthly mothers.

Raising children

Raising children is the first phase of motherhood, the real mothers see to it that the child comes out well, by eating well and being clothed and sheltered the right way. The child’s  first hero is the one who makes them feel protected at all times. Children who will grow up strong are brought up in resilient communities that thrive on love, unity and security. Childhood therefore, go hand in hand with motherhood, which could be mothers,  aunties, teachers, or guardians.

Raising giants

After childhood, the teenage and adulthood stages are no joke. But the perfect motherhood makes sure that the children pass through these phases successfully. Giants are the ones who have mother figures to lean on to. Mothers are really great epitome of angelic beings who have visited the earth. They nurture and bring up children to become adults who are responsible. So there goes, a mother is a real gem. If you ask me, they are a substitute for heaven’s abundant love for humanity.
