It’s almost the end of the month and we all have been wondering how January went by so fast. Hope we are not in this alone? Anyway, we hope you’re having a smooth sail so far? To keep winning and living empowered takes mastery and intentionality. You cannot pour from an empty cup so make sure you are living purposefully and not on the fences. Here are five sure ways you can get pumped up for the days ahead without feeling left out:
Pray
No other spiritual order is greater than prayer, of you ask me. It is like sending forth your petition to the high court judge for redress. Without prayers, your petition is not known to the highest order in this universe, for me, that is God. Empowered people pray and petition God to grant them peace, strength and prosperity. Would you rather wait for calamity to strike before praying? Your guess is as good as mine.
Praise
Learn to keep your praise high be it towards your creator, your fellow humans or your subordinates. Grateful people always attract more opportunities that will lead them to become empowered individuals. There is no need to come off as ungrateful when others show you the way. A simple thank you can go a long way to open more doors for you.
Practice
Learn to show up, be kind, be generous and be compassionate. These are values that embody empowered people who lead change. If you want to succeed at any venture, you have to practice and apply the key principles that empowered people live by.
Lead
Try as much as possible to take on roles that you otherwise would have ran away from. Leading initiatives makes you feel confident in yourself and helps you adjust to new environments easily. For instance, leading an icebreaker at a meetup will be a nice way to introduce yourself to your new group and to let them trust you more. People who hide behind the crowd are sometimes not given the nod on opportunities which may arise.
Network
One of my shortfalls has been living empowered through networking. I thought my network is enough to get me through but after several podcasts and readings, I realized that the more you network, the greater your chances of getting more contacts of people who can be in your corner when the need calls for it.
