You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life and get pats on the back as you pass, but your final reward will be heartaches and tears if you’ve cheated the man in the glass. -Dale Wimbrow

Happy new work week folks, it’s a beautiful Monday. Just so you know, there is a lot of competition out there and if you do not take care you will be lost on what to do at the work environment. Differentiate yourself from the competition by showing up and being ready for everyone you come into contact with at the workplace. Going the extra mile for the people who write your checks will pay off if you consider these simple tips.

Speak up in meetings

Be confident to ask the important questions during meetings. Let your ideas and suggestions be made known as you talk about the things that interest you and the company. This inspires other colleagues to speak up. And in doing this, you create more visibility for yourself by causing your leaders and subordinates to call on you for ideas.

Represent your team

You need to volunteer to represent your team during projects. Don’t wait until you are called out before you do something in your team. Be motivated to be the one who leads the team to achieve great results through strategy and planning. Be a good team player and cause a change by producing the best performance review at the end of each project. This will not only give you the maximum feedback that you deserve, you will also be noticed for your team effort.

Achieve increased productivity

People who produce good results always feel good about themselves. If you are always out to achieve great results, you do everything possible to accomplish your goals. When you are able to achieve great results, you feel good within yourself because you know you have done a good job and have something to show for all your effort. Sooner or later, those around you will notice this too and give you all the accolades that you deserve.

Take on challenging tasks

Be motivated to take on challenging roles and tasks at the workplace if you want to be noticed. This simply means taking action that are consistent with your words and sticking to your guns no matter how difficult the task may seem. This attitude will inspire you to break records at the workplace and keep your name on the list of best workers.

Create satisfied customers

Satisfied customers become raving fans. These are customers who are so happy about the way you treated them that they want to brag about you. If you don’t take care of your customers, someone else will steal them from you and make them permanent customers. Teach yourself to offer the best customer service at all times so that they can brag about what a good sales person you are and recommend you to more clients.
