Short Hair Inspiration From Inspiring Young Women In Ghana

More and more Africans are embracing the uniqueness of themselves, and more especially their hair. Short hair which was widely thought to be rocked better by men have seen a new turn around with most women adopting it in recent times. Below are some short hair inspirations that you can look out for, and they have been perfectly rocked by Ghanaian young women who are actually making an impact in their society. Meet the ladies:

Lharley Lhartey

She is an undisputed uprising fashion icon making the airwaves. This young woman seems to have stolen the hearts of many Ghanaians with her astonishing look which she rocks so well anyday.

TV presenter of the show iSocial, and Personal Stylist seems to be doing well for herself as she takes on presenting and red carpet hosting at most events in Accra lately.

Her appearance and unique presenting skills has won her connections and networks with great people like Sister Deborah, Stephen Appiah, DJ Mensah, and a host of other celebrities.

Lharley is an epitome of finding your brand and making it work for you. She also uses her instagram page to sell this brand so well.  As brand ambassador for AnnVee Online Clothing, she does a beautiful work of African fashion display. Just look at how she works her short hair magic. Isn’t it worth the shave?

Priscilla Opoku(aka Ahoufe Patri)

Ahoufe Patri has become a household name since the showcase of the Kalybos series. The young woman mostly known for rocking short hair so well is a fine actress groomed from NAFTI. The lady is also a philanthropist who gives back to society through charity works.  I’m just in love with the red dye on her short hair. Who else is?

She has been privileged to work with Ghanaian brands such as Airtel and currently signed a new deal with a Pharmaceutical company as Ambassador for Plan 2, a post pill contraceptive. She is also on the air waves, blowing our minds with the Cocoa Brown TV Series. Ahoufe also serves photographers beautiful photos as a model with a unique sense of style.

This picture inspires short hair bridal appearance and will be my alltime favorite. I wish most brides will walk down the aisle in something like this.

Fella Makafui

Her appearance one the Yolo TV Series has given her the platform to be recognised  as a versatile young female actress. Serwaa, as she is affectionately known for the role she played in Yolo, appears to be a really passionate person who does not accept no for an answer.

She has swept awards recently as Most Promising Female actress and Best Actress for the tertiary category, among others. Fella also rocks her short hair in a new style altogether with a little perm to give it a whole new twist.

The young goddess also couples as a model and fashion entrepreneur who runs her own fashion business. Call it whatever, but I personally think it is the short hair magic that makes her outstanding!

Ama Kwakye

She runs a fashion house called #AmaKwakyeCo. A close friend to Ahoufe Patri and a fashion stylist, she finds her inspiration in nature and arts. Her wonderful creations tell this for a fact.

Who wouldn’t rock this dress any day, with a touch of gold in their hair? This is one of my favorite looks of Ama. This up there is one of her lovely works. Check her page on IG @amakwakyeco and book her for your flawless looks. She appears a witty and fun person. Most short hair ladies have those qualities in them.

Serafina Takyi

My good friend added up to my list of my short hair inspirations and daaaamn… she nailed it so well. You can’t beat the short hair charm out of the model. Models just make anything look so perfect.

Serafina has rocked many runways with her beatiful body which she terms,  “a work of art”. She has also made alot of appearances on the most talked about fashion red carpets like Glitz Fashion Awards and Debon Afrik stylebook.

Now tell me why you are still contemplating on having that  big chop. And these ladies give us the hope that we can be whatever we want without having to feel wrong or misplaced. Be inspired!
