Blitz the Ambassador makes Huge Stride with Directing, features his works in ‘Black is King’

Director of the popular Netflix movie, the Burial of Kojo, Blitz the Ambassador, is at it again with his appearance performance on Beyoncé’s new production, ‘Black is King’.

Apart from Shatta Wale, there were two other Ghanaians who also contributed to the making of the ‘Black is King’ film. They are Blitz the Ambassador and Emmanuel Adjei.

Born Samuel Bazawule, Blitz the Ambassador is a Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, filmmaker, and visual artiste based in Brooklyn, New York.
One of the most popular songs he featured on was Deeba’s ‘Deeba’.
In the area of film, he wrote and Directed the Burial of Kojo which has been a hit worldwide with online streaming on Netflix.
Bazawule starred in the 2019 Whitney Biennial curated by Rujeko Hockley and Jane Panetta.

Known in entertainment circles as Blitz the Ambassador, Samuel Bazawule, is a Ghanaian hip-hop artist and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. His visual impressions as a visual artist has won him much admiration and recognition on the international front including the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Award for Best First Feature Film by a Director, and the
2020 Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts.
