Content creation is the order of the day. From creating posts on Instagram or making videos for content on TikTok, content creation is winning on every side. In this series, I am going to explore content creation with you, my favorite readers, and hopefully, you will be able to know my content creation process. These tips will help you on your journey as a creative or content creator. There are ten tips I will be exploring each day in this series. I will tackle one tip at the time. Let’s delve straight into today’s content creation tip of the day.

Muse

A muse is someone or something that inspires your creative thought process. In most instances, the thought or presence of this person or thing inspires you to think creatively and motivates you to create things way beyond your abilities. Most creatives have a muse which consciously or unconsciously sparks a fire in them to do more work. Once you have your muse, your content creation urges are always pumping in you.

Creative juices

Your muse should be able to unlock your creativity blocks and give way for your creative juices to flow. Some people have their children or pet as their muse. Some have certain spaces like parks or beaches as their muse. Other people find a muse in their lovers, while others find theirs in the people that always look down on them. Whatever yours may be, you should find out and stick to it no matter what.

Lovers

If your lover is your muse, chances are you are going to get stuck once you two are separated. No wonder some people end up with someone who looks exactly like their ex just so they can feel the energies all over again. In other instances, they may stalk their lovers online just so they can be motivated from afar. Choosing your lover as a muse is a good thing but that means you need them around almost all the time. No wonder some relationships last for a lifetime because one person is the muse and the other cannot let them go.

Environment

Finding your muse in a creative space is key to reviving your creativity. Sometimes creative people spend hours in a garden just to recharge their creative energies. When this happens, they are supercharged to be productive throughout the day just after spending time in their “happy place”. You need to find out which environment is good for you as a content creator and spend more time in this place.

Difficult situations

Finding your muse in challenging situations isn’t a bad thing. That does not mean you expect bad things to happen to you. However, some creatives are supercharged after going through very bad situations. Sometimes the loss of a loved one can inspire creativity. As a content creator, your thought processes and imagination can be a powerful tool for creativity. Learn to use that if that is all you’ve got. When someone dislikes you so much, instead of feeding into their negative energy, you can channel that into something creative.

Overall

In conclusion, whatever you do as a content creator is always inspired. You need to find that inspiration and stick to it. Whether it’s your pet, a place, a person, or an experience, you need to use that and create something beautiful out of it. Your content be it writing, video production, or movies, will have more impact when it’s coming from a “happy place”. Go create amazing content.
