So the yaanom are still like making noise over nothing right?
In this era where relationship red flags are in vogue, people still commit huge blunders and come out crying foul. And they start acting the victim while looking for sympathisers. They expect us to share in their pain when we were not there from the beginning.
This week on trending issues, one Abena Obiatopa is on the streets with her ‘Save the Date’ marriage invitation. The guy in question is Richard Agu. Rumors have it that he is a heartbreaker as well as a gold digger who uses women to reach his goals in life.
Apparently, one of his exes is angry because he ditched her for another woman and for that matter, the young man is now facing the court of public opinion.
Information is really in abundance on these streets. Wetin concern me, but my mind can’t run away from discussing the matter some…
Long and short of the matter is that, Aunty Comfort, the alleged ex, allowed herself to be used as a blessing for a friend in need. So she coming out to cry foul makes no sense at this moment that he has decided to take another woman to the altar. From the look of things, he never made a promise to marry his supposed ex, unless she has enough evidence to claim damages from him.
Too much sense won’t to kill me. What do I care? Perhaps this is just a lesson for my fellow women. Invest in someone if you must, but expect nothing more in return. But if you think you need an assurance to get hitched, communicate it. Demand it if you must.
The world is speeding up and so the ones who are ready will grab every opportunity with both hands. Sister Comfort, comfort yourself. ‘Obiaa time beba’ to wit, everyone’s time will come.
As for Mr and Mrs, thanks for giving us an eye opener. We will be careful and wise in all our decisions. And when we find the right one, we will surely walk to the altar confidently, knowing that we got each other.
The trending and ‘vawulence’ you both brought to the streets was worth our time. Congratulations are in order.
