Hey there, it’s been ages since we connected. I went on a hiatus and I’m glad to be back. Did you know that golf is played by the bourgeois and elite group in society? Yes, you heard it from me, not many have the luxury of playing golf especially on a week day. I had the chance to do so, especially, after having a nervous breakdown a couple of weeks ago.
I won’t go much into that but my people know. As you may know me, I never back down. I still have enough energy to come and give my cherished readers some of my vibes. So let’s delve into my mini golf experience.
I went with a friend in the wee hours of the morning to Marvels at about 10am. We had to wait until 11am to play because they operate the place from 12 noon onwards. After some stroke of luck and some convincing they decided to hand us some balls and two putters to start our game.
There were eighteen series of course to finish in order to be a golf champion for the day. I aimed for the hole in the first stage on the course. My good friend was my teacher for the day. I went through the rigorous training of handling the putter the right way and aiming for the hole without a miss.
I must say it was a great experience that anyone must indulge in. But as I said, if you do not have the luxury of time, you might as well forget it. So here goes my lessons after playing the game:
Never be over confident
In aiming at hitting the ball into the hole, you do not need over confidence, you need to aim and hit with caution. Handling the putter well will help you swing your arms the right way.
Every hit counts
You begin counting from your first hit to complete the whole eighteen courses. I finished at about 103 while my friend finished at 86 hits which wasn’t bad at all. Most great golfers finish with fewer number of hits. I must confess that I’m still learning the rules and terms of the game but I really had fun that day.
Coping with difficult terrains
There were terrains which were difficult to maneuver. This was where one had to use their aiming skills well. The different courses made the game fun and I had to appreciate Tiger Woods the more on that. Finishing through the difficult stages with about 10 hits will only humble you and teach you to revisit the first lesson. Do not be over confident.

Hiatus, I had to google the word. Now added to my vocabulary. Good to have you back. And great lessons here. These lessons I believe may be applicable in all of life, generally. What do you think?
Thanks for the welcome sir. And yes the principles can be applied to life.
